Four formats, one thread : understanding how decisions are made together, then walking into the room.

Two class periods in a final-year secondary class, in French or in Dutch. What diplomacy is and what it is for ; why states follow rules without a world police ; the bilateral, European and UN levels ; the difference between the Council of the EU, the European Council and the Council of Europe ; the Security Council and the veto ; the place of Brussels ; the entry points to these careers. One facilitator, trained on a written outline, with the teacher present.
Host a session
A simulation of the UN Security Council or the Council of the European Union. Each participant receives a country, a mandate and a red line, and must leave the room with an adopted text. You learn what no course shows : a diplomat does not defend an opinion, they carry out an instruction.

Small-group visits : an embassy, a permanent representation, a European institution. An hour with a diplomat who tells how they got in, what they do in the morning, what they cannot say.

Short workshops on entering these careers, without embellishment : the studies that count, the selection competitions, the languages, the internships, the UN youth delegates, what you can do this very year.
